2014 ECSA-C Biennial

The 10th European Community Studies Association-Canada (ECSA-C) biennial conference will be hosted by the Université de Montréal and be held in Montreal from 8-10 May 2014. The conference theme is “Europe and Peace.”

You may benefit from a special fare at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. You simply have to book your room on their dedicated website. The hotel offers many facilities for free, including a swimming pool and a gym.

In addition, there is also a possibility for you to use student housing at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM). To learn more about these residences, please click here. Please note that in conjunction with the conference, the University of Victoria organizes a workshop on the governance of social policy in Canada and the EU. The workshop will take place on Friday, May 9, from 9.00am to 1.00pm. Attendance is free but registration is mandatory on the following page.

Access from Montreal-Trudeau airport

Downtown Montreal is easily accessible from the Trudeau-airport. The STM shuttle 747 (Montreal public transportation) runs around the clock and the fare is $10. For more information, please visit the webpage of the STM.
